"As somebody who can experience a fair bit of difficulty expressing myself in therapy, I was taken aback by the ease and safety I felt in my first session with Bruce. It’s clear that he has a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to the table and has developed such genuine compassion and empathy from this. It’s been a pleasure to have come across him. If you’re struggling and finding it hard to choose where to begin, just give him a go. You’ll be grateful you did!"

"As a therapist, I know especially well how fortunate I am to have Bruce for my own support. This gratitude is not just for his intellect, his transparency, his gentleness, or even his ability to make me laugh with that sharp wit. Bruce is this therapists' therapist because there's a wisdom to this guy, and it's something that tends to multiply for those in his orbit. I typically leave feeling kinder, of greater clarity, more whole in spirit. If you're reading these reviews because you're hurting, hey give him a call. This one of the best humans a person could turn to."

"After the first few sessions Bruce was quick to recognise what was required of him in our sessions. The support Bruce provided myself with was exactly what was required of him without ever explicitly telling him what I was after. He quickly became someone I could trust and built great rapport that I felt comfortable talking about anything."

"What makes counselling useful has everything to do with the counsellor; for people who are struggling, trying to gain clarity, to make sense of one’s life in context, a counsellor must be able to guide and provide moments of insight, must be someone who can reflect yourself back to you with the kind of empathy and compassions we all deserve. Bruce is this kind of counsellor, who takes the job of knowing his clients as the centre of his practice. From our first conversation (a free intake phone call where he invited me to interview him for the job to ensure that I felt it was the right fit) to our surprisingly productive counselling sessions, I have grown to deeply respect the philosophy and technique of his practice. Bruce brings ideas and information to our sessions that show me he is constantly growing, reading, shaping his professional development to bring the best practices in the field to our discussions. He listens not only in a rote manner, but in a way that allows him to synthesise various moments into a new and often very helpful observation, which for me is the point of counselling. In every session Bruce takes the time (even more than he should) to go back over some of the things he heard during our talk, and to give me a point of reflection or technique that might make what is hard a little easier. What is best about my experience with Bruce as my counsellor has been that I feel better or lighter after spending an hour with him. He has a way of making you feel good about humanity and your place in it. I think it is important that we share authentic experiences and I hope this review will bring the same kind of experience to others. I cannot recommend Bruce highly enough as a consummate professional, a good human being and a counsellor who actually gets results."
